​COMPOSITION SINGER-SONGWRITER ASSESSMENTS AIM TO EVALUATE THE CANDIDATE'S SKILLS IN COMPOSITIONAL TECHNIQUES INCLUDING: 
  • Part-writing
  • Form
  • Harmonic, rhythmic and melodic development
  • Orchestration
  • Ability to work within a developed structure
  • originality and the recognition of a distinctive compositional style
